One starry night, Emma looked through her telescope. “I wonder what it’s like up there,” she whispered to her cat, Luna.
Suddenly, a beam of sparkling light shone down from the sky. A silver spaceship landed in Emma’s backyard Out stepped a friendly alien named Zogo.
“Emma, the stars need your help!” he said. “Will you come with me?” Emma grabbed her spacesuit, her backpack of snacks, and Luna jumped into her arms. “Let’s go!”
Zogo’s ship zoomed past glowing planets, bouncing comets, and glittering asteroid fields. They arrived at Starbright Station. The Star Queen greeted Emma. “The Great
Star Gem is missing,” she said. “Without it, stars will stop shining!” Emma bravely volunteered to find the gem. “I’ll bring back the starlight!” Clue one led them to the
Moonberry Marsh, where jelly-like creatures danced. One pointed to a swirling vortex. Through the vortex, they reached the Rainbow Rings of Saturn. There, a puzzle awaited: arrange the colors of the rings in the right order. Emma solved it! A hidden door opened, revealing a map to the Crystal Caverns of Nebulon.
Inside the caverns, twinkling crystals sang soft lullabies. Luna’s purring helped calm the echoing winds. In the heart of the cave, the Star Gem floated—but it was guarded by a sleepy space dragon!
Emma gently sang a lullaby. The dragon yawned, curled up, and went to sleep. She tiptoed past and grabbed the Star Gem. It glowed in her hands like a sunrise.
Back at Starbright Station, Emma placed the gem on its pedestal. Instantly, the stars twinkled brighter than ever. The Star Queen gave Emma a glowing badge. “You are now an official Star Guardian!” Emma and Luna returned home. The stars winked above as if saying “Thank you.” From that night on, whenever Emma looked up, she smiled. She knew the stars were shining because of her.
